Additional Information

The ancient village of Calaforno dated 1725 revolves around a shady courtyard that allows its guests to have dinner outdoor on summer evenings. The menu proposes traditional dishes. 

During the “Onion Festival” on August 14th you can taste dishes with onion prepared in many different ways! On summer evenings you can have dinner outdoors. The available seats are 150, between outside and inside. We also organize private parties, weddings and banquets. The fixed menu is 35 Euros but you can also choose from the list. Reservation is recommended so that we can ensure the maximum comfort. Locanda Angelica will be happy to welcome you!

The menu was plain, but with that it did what it was meant do and did it well.

"This restaurant is particular, you can dine while your kids are sleeping if you rent one of the cottages since restaurant is in the middle of them. Besides dining here is really enjoyable, all food is of high standards, we had pizza & meat, cooked to perfection. Desserts are delicious as well. Keep it up Gaetano & family"

"Ate here a couple of times while staying in the area. There is an extensive menu (pizza / pasta and other dishes) - the steak fiorentina is great and fantastic value. The dining area is in a covered courtyard - perfect in the evening regardless of the weather. Definitely worth the short drive from the local town.."

"Due Palme is situated in an old farmhouse in a park called Calaforno, about 7 minutes drive from Giarratana. The atmosphere in this place is special,all decorated with antique things inside, very cosy and warm and the people who run this restaurant are very helpful, but above all its the food that makes it one of the best restaurants i have been to in Sicily and Italy. Highly recommended"
